Today I’m going to write a review about a lipgloss I bought from Catrice, It’s a lipgloss that plumps your lips and makes it look a little bit bigger. This product really reminded me of the Dior lip maximizer that I bought a year ago, and that works great! But as you know, the price of Dior and Catrice are very different. For the lip maximizer from Dior you pay about 30€ and for the volumizing lip booster from catrice you pay only 3,59€. So, beacause I really liked the one from Dior, I decided to try the cheaper version from Catrice to see if it works as good as the one from Dior.
So on the left you can see the one from Dior and on the right the one from Catrice. As you can see the packaging is very cute and compact and it looks a lot like the package from Dior. So I tried it out, and I must say I’m excited about the result, it might not be as good as the one from Dior, but for the little price it definetly is not bad! I applied it over another lipstick and it gave it a nice finish and gave my lips more volume, so they looked bigger. And like the Dior Lip Maximizer, the Catrice Volumining Lip Booster also has menthol in it, so when you apply it you get a tickly fresh feeling on your lips. The only disadvantage is that it doesn’t last long on your lips, you must apply it after 1-2 hours. But applying is not very difficult. So that’s the only disadvantage I found about this product.
So as you guys can see on the pictures, It does really give it volume and makes my lips look bigger. I like this product, it isn’t as good as the one from Dior but for the small price you don’t have to think twice about buying this product. It does work and it looks good. But you must be careful with it and not apply too much, a little bit over another lipstick or lipgloss is enough, and gives it a nice, voluming extra effect. I give this product a 7 out of 10.
